The Sub15 is an extremely powerful subwoofer that extends the playback range of main and midfield monitors down to 20 Hz. The robust woofer chassis (diameter: 390 mm) with an extremely rigid aluminium cone is driven by a powerful magnet and a 100 mm voice coil. With an output of 1000 watts RMS, the PWM amplifier achieves an efficiency of approx. 90% - this means that the Sub15 also masters critical passages with high and impulsive bass components without distortion and without overheating. The downward-firing bass reflex tube avoids disturbing flow noise thanks to its generous dimensions and corresponding rounding.

The volume (-60 to +6 dB) and the upper cut-off frequency of the subwoofer (50-150 Hz) can be adjusted to adapt the sound to different room conditions and individual requirements. The satellites can be controlled either full-range or via a high-pass filter at 85 Hz. This allows the Sub15 to be perfectly integrated into a Dolby-compliant surround monitoring system, for example.

Furthermore, unfavourable phase ratios between the satellites and subwoofer, especially in the crossover range, can be controlled by a switchable phase inversion on the subwoofer. The Sub15 is also flexible when it comes to connection options: all inputs and outputs are both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA or RCA).

The Sub15 combines outstanding impulse fidelity with an impressive bass impression and thus achieves the greatest possible authenticity in music reproduction. With a high, undistorted sound pressure level of 120 dB max SPL at 1 m, it is the perfect subwoofer for medium-sized and larger control rooms.
