With the MPX8, musicians are able to load their own samples via SD cards and assign them to each of the eight backlit pads. The MPC pads respond to velocity and pressure dynamics. A sample library is already included with the MPX8, providing an extensive sound library for live musicians and studio productions. Thanks to the intuitive user interface and the backlit blue display, the MPX8 can be operated even in low light. In addition to a 3.5 mm headphone connection, two balanced 6.3 mm jack outputs, 5-pin MIDI and USB MIDI inputs and outputs are available to the musician for integration into different setups. MPX8 also comes with a drag-and-drop sample editor for Mac and PC, which can be used to convert and assign samples. The pitch of the samples can be changed or reverb added and then saved as kits.
