The miniature condenser microphone for drums and percussion instruments. The cardioid characteristic prevents crosstalk between several microphones positioned close together. The microphone can be securely attached directly to the clamping ring of a variety of drum and percussion instruments using the infinitely adjustable screw clamp.

The elastic external mount reliably isolates the transmission of interfering structure-borne noise. An additive gooseneck stabiliser fixes the boom arm at a predetermined angle for drums and percussion instruments with a very small diameter. The integrated bass cut switch (C 518 M only) enables acoustic adjustment to various instruments.
