The C 562 CM built-in boundary layer contains the same microphone capsule as the C 562 BL. This product variant has been specially developed for fixed installations where the microphone needs to be installed as unobtrusively as possible in a wall, ceiling, table or stage prop.
The high sensitivity of this capsule is particularly suitable for monitoring purposes or recordings where only one microphone is required to record an entire room. The C 562 CM is supplied with an XLR phantom power adapter, which has a 3.5 mm plug coupling between the microphone and XLR plug.
This means that the diameter of the XLR adapter does not need to be taken into account for installation.
