Thanks to the specially developed sound technology and customised components, the C7 reduces feedback and pop noise to a minimum. AKG CONDENSER SOUND IN A CLASS OF ITS OWN:

At the heart of the microphone is a hand-selected, finely tuned condenser capsule with a supercardioid characteristic.

The sound of the voice is reproduced unadulterated and with crisp highs. The C7 can handle even the highest sound pressure levels, ensuring unrivalled fidelity even with very loud ambient noise.

OPEN-SPACE CAPSULE TECHNOLOGY:

The innovative open-space capsule technology ensures a frequency-independent, highly linear supercardioid polar pattern. This ensures maximum feedback immunity and minimises crosstalk with other instruments.

INTEGRATED PROPRIETARY CAPSULE BEARING:

The C7 is equipped with a proprietary elastic bearing that protects against unwanted structure-borne sound transmission. The capsule sits on a special rubber mount that effectively keeps unwanted vibrations away from the capsule.

MULTI-DIMENSIONAL PROTECTION SYSTEM AGAINST POP NOISE:

The C7 has a three-layer system that reliably protects against popping noises. The system consists of the actual protective grille, dense foam under the protective grille and an additional layer just above the capsule, thereby protecting it from even strong popping noises.

ROBUST CONSTRUCTION:

With its robust construction made of a special metal alloy and a protective grille made of spring steel, the C7 masters even the toughest demands of everyday touring. A 24-carat gold coating protects the capsule from moisture and corrosion.
