The DMS300 Vocal Set P5 is a digital wireless system for vocals and presentations. It consists of a wireless microphone and a receiver. The system is free of registration and fees worldwide as it operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. Thanks to uncompressed radio transmission at 24 bit/48 KHz, the audio quality is consistently high. To protect confidential content, the signal is encrypted to prevent eavesdropping during transmission.
The sound of the wireless microphone is powerful and clear. Speech and vocals in particular are reproduced clearly. The supercardioid directional characteristic makes it insensitive to feedback. Disturbing popping and breathing noises are effectively prevented by a built-in windscreen. The wireless microphone runs for up to 12 hours on just 2 AA batteries. The battery status is displayed on the receiver and also on the hand-held transmitter via an LCD display.
The DMS300 system is very easy to operate. An available frequency is automatically recognised and set. To ensure that the radio transmission is not impaired by WLAN and Bluetooth devices, the receiver changes the radio frequency as soon as overlaps are detected. The receiver is equipped with two antennas for reliable transmission. Up to eight DMS300 systems can be synchronised and operated in parallel.
A mounting kit for rack installation is optionally available. For trouble-free operation, the distance between transmitter and receiver should not exceed 30 metres
