The K712 PRO is an open, dynamic headphone for use in recording studios and by radio and television broadcasters. The headphones with selected transducers are handmade in Vienna and impress with their perfect workmanship. It offers a uniquely transparent sound image as well as excellent spatial imaging and depth. The detailed treble resolution combined with optimised bass reproduction thanks to the breathable velour ear pads with 3D Form technology contribute to this.
The diaphragm, which is manufactured in two layers using the patented Varimotion system, is driven by neodymium magnets, resulting in a particularly linear frequency response with low distortion. The coil is wound from flat wire and offers perfect impulse fidelity and crystal-clear treble reproduction.
The outstanding daytime comfort is based on the familiar self-adjusting AKG automatic headband with genuine leather headband and the single-sided cable routing with plug-in mini XLR cable. This makes fatigue-free working possible - also thanks to the low weight of the headphones.
