The WMS470 Vocal D5 set is designed for setting up large multi-channel systems. It consists of the SR470 receiver and the HT470 handheld transmitter with dynamic microphone capsule.

The D5 dynamic microphone capsule offers high speech intelligibility and optimum protection against feedback.

The SR470 diversity receiver allows simultaneous operation of up to 16x channels within one frequency band. By combining several frequency bands, absolutely reliable systems with a maximum of 48x channels are possible. Thanks to the automatic frequency setting, in which all free channels are found and displayed in the shortest possible time, operation is easy even for non-experts. A pilot tone transmitted with the transmission signal prevents background noise by only allowing the audio signal through when the transmitter is recognised. The SR470 display changes colour to indicate critical operating states, such as low remaining transmitter battery life, audio signal peaks or low RF field strength.

The product offered transmits/receives in the frequency range S8=823-832 MHz (centre gap), which is free of charge and registration and is legally approved until at least 2021.
