SQ Waves offers any SQ or AHM-64 device a 64 × 64, 96 kHz or 48 kHz interface to a Waves SoundGrid network via the I/O port. Engineers or installers can now adapt the Waves card to any SQ or AHM-64 for processing Waves plug-ins, multitrack recording (at 96 kHz or 48 kHz), virtual sound checks and audio distribution applications.
Waves SoundGrid is an audio-over-Ethernet protocol developed by Waves for professional real-time audio applications. The card also enables the use of existing Waves plug-ins with very low latency, using standard Gigabit Ethernet networks instead of a USB connection.
