The new ZED-16FX and ZED-18 models each have 10 fully featured mono channels and 3 or 4 dual stereo channels to fulfil the demand for more channels in a compact mixer. Together with the other consoles in the ZED series, both consoles feature USB send and return for recording, playback and effects applications. The 10 mic/line inputs are each equipped with the powerful, two-stage DuoPre PreAmp, the 3-band MusicQ equaliser with tunable mids and a 100mm fader. The stereo inputs have a 2-band equaliser and further inputs for additional sources. The 4 aux paths can be fed from each mono channel and stereo channel. The ZED-16FX also has a built-in effects unit with TAP delay and a sampling rate of 24 bit and 48 kHz. The 16 effects are based on the effects of the Allen iLive series. The compact formats of both mixing consoles are rack-mountable.
