The ring magnet system in combination with a copper-coated aluminium voice coil reduces the weight of the moving masses. This design enables significantly faster movements and directional changes. The result is a greatly improved reproduction of transients and level peaks, which is of central importance when working on today's digital recording and mixing systems and also guarantees precise reproduction of the low bass range.A double-walled ear cup was developed and installed for the best possible attenuation of ambient noise, such as the suppression of cross-talk from the headphone signal to the recording. Another key criterion for headphones is wearing comfort.
