The D6 is a dynamic microphone that is particularly good at reproducing comparatively low frequencies. The D6 with cardioid polar pattern offers a transmission range of 30 Hz to 15 kHz (+/-3 dB) and is therefore predestined for miking kick drums, bass boxes/combos and similar instruments. Transformerless electronics as well as low-impedance and balanced outputs guarantee interference-free performance - even when using longer cable lengths. The very stable housing is made from a single piece of aluminium and is about twice the size of the other models in the D series.
