Albert Augustine emigrated from Denmark to the USA in 1926. He settled in New York as an instrument maker and experimented with the various newly invented plastics. in 1946, with the support of the world-famous Andres Segovia, he was able to present the world's first nylon string, which has since gone on to conquer the entire globe. Made in New York. USA.
The best known sets (CLASSIC: black, red and blue) have identical treble strings in normal tension, the 3 sets differ in the different tensions of the wound bass strings (black=light/normal, red=medium, blue=high). This logic is continued in all subsequent series.
