Reference sound thanks to innovative driver system

At the heart of the DT 70 IE is the German-made TESLA.11 driver system, which is superior to conventional balanced armature systems. It delivers impressive detail resolution and minimal distortion (distortion factor: 0.02%). Thanks to high impulse fidelity, acoustic events are reproduced precisely. With up to 137 dB sound pressure, the DT 70 IE is one of the most powerful and lowest-distortion in-ears on the market.

Many in-ears have a poor fit due to large driver systems, which impairs sound and isolation. The DT 70 IE solves this with the space-saving TESLA.11 driver and an ergonomic design based on hundreds of MRI ear moulds. It is more compact than comparable models and combines excellent sound, high isolation and optimum wearing comfort. Five silicone and three Comply™ memory foam ear moulds are included for maximum flexibility.

The DT 70 IE has passive sound insulation of -39 dB, making it one of the leading systems on the market.

Its high-quality cable minimises structure-borne noise and the gold-plated MMCX connector system offers a more stable connection than 2-pin connectors.
