The ASM Hydrasynth Explorer takes the now legendary Hydrasynth into new realms. The Hydrasynth Explorer offers the same 8-voice sound engine as the HydrasynthSound engine as the Hydrasynth Keyboard and Desktop, but in a compact and portable, battery-powered form factor. The 37-voice medium-sized PolyTouch®Keybed with polyphonic aftertouch offers excellent playability and expressiveness in a smaller footprint. The extremely deep yet easy to use sound engine features the famous WaveScan oscillators, mutator waveshaping, a flexible dual filter section, a 32-slot modulation matrix,and two insert and two master effects that provide a lifetime of sonic exploration. The CV/GATE outputs ensure easy integration with modular synthesizers, andmodular synthesizers, and the USB MIDI and full-size MIDI DIN connectors provide standard connections without the need for special cables.Special cables. The ASM Hydrasynth Deluxe is the new flagship Hydrasynth. It offers a dual-engine setup with a total of 16 voices and an all-new 73-voice keybed with ASM's coveted polyphonic PolyTouch® aftertouch functionality that is clearly in a class of its own. With two Hydrasynths in one instrument, KeySplit and Dual Voice mode patches with 8 independent voices each are possible. You also have separate balanced stereo audio outputs for each of the two parts. The easily accessible 4-octave ribbon controller ensures expressive playing. The Hydrasynth Deluxe also offers CV/GATE I/O for connection to modular and other voltage-controlled synthesisers.
