It replaces conventional white light sources and ensures energy savings, lower weight and easier handling. It is equipped with 61 multi-chip LEDs in the 15W class, with each multi-chip LED carrying two cool white and two warm white chips. This mixture allows the colour temperature to be infinitely adjusted from 2800K to 7500K. The design of the optical system, including the integrated lens hood, ensures very uniform illumination with an exceptionally low proportion of stray light. This makes barndoors superfluous in most cases. Another major advantage of the optical system is the zoom range, which can be infinitely adjusted from 4°-48° using a motor. This variability of the aperture angle can only be achieved with conventional white light spotlights by replacing lenses or attaching lenses. The A12 Tunable White naturally has an in-built radio module. This enables the spotlight to be operated on the Wireless TRX from JB-Lighting without additional DMX cabling. The A12 Tunable White can be used as a front light in TV studios, theatres or on large stages, as well as for contract and trade fair lighting.

A total of 61 RGBW multichip LEDs in the 15W class are used in the A12 in a newly developed optical zoom system. Thanks to the hexagonal lenses, the light field appears absolutely homogeneous, almost like a single light source. The A12 has enormous brightness and, depending on the colour, replaces a 1200W to 1500W washlight with discharge lamp. The zoom range covers a remarkable 4° - 48°.As with previous LED washers from JB-lighting, the A12 is also characterised by sophisticated software. Particular attention was paid to the dimming behaviour, which enables the A12 to dim with the highest resolution and absolute colour fidelity. Various control curves for RGBW are available for demanding work, as well as different dimming curves and camera modes that guarantee flicker-free work in television studios. Naturally, the A12 is equipped with low-noise 3-phase stepper motors and, like the A4, A7 and A8, has a factory-installed receiver module for JB-lighting Wireless DMX.The A12 is designed for large stages and applications where a powerful spotlight is required. It easily replaces a washlight with a 1200W discharge lamp and is the only multi-chip LED washlight capable of achieving extremely narrow beams.
