The Lake People Phone-Amp G103D4 is a headphone amplifier for DANTE networks.The G103D4 model has a Dante 4/4 input and two independent stereo amplifiers. 24-bit/192 kHz D/A converters with a signal-to-noise ratio of >105 dB and a distortion factor of only 0.002 % drive the powerful headphone amplifiers. These are best suited for driving headphones with low to high impedance and low or high sensitivity. To adapt the amplifier to demanding headphones, to further reduce the noise level or to maximise the control travel of the volume control, the gain can be adjusted internally via DIP switches to optimise the amplifier.The digital DANTE audio signals are fed in via a standard RJ45 connection. The Lake People G103D4 accepts 4 audio channels. The unpacked audio signals are forwarded to two high-quality D/A converters. The restored analogue signals are buffered, attenuated in the analogue range and then forwarded to powerful headphone amplifiers.If required, it is possible to set an additional gain of +6 dB or +12 dB via DIP switches in the amplifier. Each amplifier section has a 1/4" and a 3.5 mm jack socket that can be used simultaneously.The amplifier is powered either via PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) or via a USB plug-in power supply adapter (not included) with USB-B or USB-C connection.
