The dual bass reflex system at the front not only minimises turbulence, but also allows the S7R to be positioned close to the wall. The 28 mm tweeter is driven with a full 70 watts sine wave, while the generous power amplifier headroom ensures extremely balanced and transparent treble reproduction; the power amplifier of the 6.5" woofer delivers 120 watts sine wave.On the rear of the S7R, the input sensitivity can be adjusted using a 10-position rotary switch, while treble and bass can each be adjusted using a DIP switch if required. The S7R is equipped with an overheating and subsonic protection circuit, the Quested logo on the front also serves as an operating LED (green) and clipping indicator (red).The 25 cm wide and almost 12 kg heavy S7R impresses with an extremely neutral, articulate and accurate reproduction as well as an excellent stereo image with detailed depth gradation. It is suitable for a wide range of music styles from acoustic jazz, pop and rock to house and techno.The frequency response ranges from 68 Hz to 20 kHz, assuming a tolerance of ±2 dB, or 58 Hz in the bass with -6 dB. If you want to extend the transmission range of your S7R monitoring system downwards, you can combine it with the SB10R subwoofer, which plays confidently in the low bass down to 25 Hz (17 Hz/-6 dB).Front grille (S7R Grille) and monitor stand (STS-L) are available as optional original accessories.
