The CFD DVT digital interface is used for balanced signal transport from D-Sub to jack. The pin assignment corresponds to the analogue Tascam DSUB 25 specification (DA88). The D-Sub 25-pin male connector has a metal housing. The 8x 6.3mm jack plugs (balanced) are surrounded by nickel-plated metal.
The CMD 8 cable by the metre has spiral pair shields made of tinned copper and also a tinned overall braided shield. The cable therefore transports both analogue signals and DMX extremely well.
