It's time for a change! For decades, little has changed in the basic concept of instrument cables: A copper core on the inside, a PVC sheath on the outside. This recipe for success has long guaranteed robust and flexible cables.
However, what is not taken into account is that PVC cannot be easily recycled due to certain additives!
As a novelty, Cordial has opted for a completely new jacket material that completely dispenses with PVC! Sustainable and, above all, at least as high quality as anything that has gone before.
The alternative to PVC is called TPE-V. This is a mixture of soft/elastic components, which ensure flexibility, softness and good winding properties - as well as harder components, which enable both notch resistance and use at high operating temperatures.
