The nickel-plated XT steel strings for electric guitars are made from our popular electric guitar alloy and have been specially treated for longer life while retaining the natural sound and feel of uncoated strings. Available for 6-string electric guitars in gauges ranging from extra fine to fine top strings/thick bottom strings to suit different playing styles and preferences.
The D'Addario XT strings consist of a steel core with a high carbon content, which has been treated for a longer service life. As a result, you benefit from increased tensile strength, tuning stability and long-lasting performance - with the same feel as uncoated strings. These strings deliver what they promise: long-lasting, consistent performance.
