One-button-one-function design
The new Dangerous Music CONVERT-8 is a reference-class 8-channel DA converter. It is the 8-channel version of the equally new CONVERT-2 with a slightly different feature set.
Equipped with ADAT and AES inputs and D-Sub outputs as well as AES Thru, it is very easy to replace or expand existing DA converters.
The CONVERT-8 is tailor-made for mixers that use analogue summers such as the Dangerous D-Box and the legendary 2-Bus(+). On the other hand, it is ideal for surround setups (up to 7.1), both in the mix and in mastering. It can also be easily integrated into a Dangerous Monitor ST setup.
The CONVERT series has been developed from scratch - without compromise. Knowledge gained from decades of experience combined with the Dangerous Music basic philosophy of "transparent but musical" has resulted in a truly special transducer: very detailed sound with a very defined, rich low end and unrivalled clarity across the entire frequency spectrum.
