The ALTEA-408A is the most compact model in our ALTEA series and is recommended for users who value easy handling and transport and require high-quality audio reproduction but not extremely high maximum levels. Thanks to the housing design with bevelled rear, the ALTEA-40A is also recommended as a compact floor monitor.
The integrated Class D power amplifier including wide-range switching power supply delivers up to 800 watts/peak and thus guarantees the highest dynamics with the lowest distortion. In addition to 5 different voicing presets, the integrated 24-bit DSP offers a 3-band EQ, low-cut filter and FIR filtering for optimum playback characteristics. Simple and convenient operation is guaranteed by the DASControl™, an integrated LC display including a rotary push encoder. Two separately controllable mic/line inputs with combo socket and a 3.5 mm jack input offer versatile connection options.
The high-quality polypropylene housing, with full-length front grille and illuminated front logo (can be switched off), has a transport handle on the top and is prepared for the optional AX-112-5 wall bracket in addition to M8 mounting points. The ALTEA-408A can also be installed in hard-to-reach places thanks to the activatable standby mode.
