THE ALTEA-718A is an active 18" subwoofer in bass-reflex design and, with its stereo signal routing including variable low-pass filter, is the ideal bass extension to the ALTEA 2-way models.
Equipped with a digital power amplifier with 1200W/peak and the integrated 24-bit DSP, the ALTEA-718A offers powerful bass and good adaptability to the respective application with the two different presets "deep" and "loud".
The high-quality speaker assembly consists of a DAS AUDIO 18FW4 18″ woofer with 3″ voice coil with double-layer 20mm winding for high power handling and efficiency.
The professionally designed cabinet is made of birch plywood and has a very robust ISO-flex PU coating. It has two transport handles on the sides and a flange for distance rods on the top.
