The VANTEC-118A active subwoofer model in front-loaded configuration has been specially developed for use with the VANTEC-20A curved line array. The system can be stacked or flown in line array configuration thanks to the DAS-Click-Lock™ rigging system compatible with the VANTEC-20A.
The electronics ensure exceptional sound reproduction with a class D amplifier with 2,000 W peak power and high-quality 24-bit DSP. A unique EQ switch allows switching between extended low bass (Deep) and more powerful bass reproduction (Loud). On the rear panel there are controls for gain, phase and a variable low-pass filter between 80 and 125 Hz. The VANTEC-118A is phase-matched to other models in the VANTEC series, allowing precise combination without the use of external signal processors.
