db Technologies ES503

The dBTechnologies ES503 is an extremely compact active speaker system that can be used very flexibly thanks to its ingenious design.

Thanks to the integrated 3-channel digital power amplifier with 1000 watts of power, an ES503 can be used as a classic stereo system with a subwoofer and two satellites. By mechanically connecting the two satellites, it can also be used as a powerful mono system; the third configuration option with two ES503 systems creates a powerful stereo system.

Unique in this class is the extensive input section, which offers simple operation thanks to the high-resolution OLED display, an integrated 3-channel mixer and a Bluetooth® receiver for audio streaming.

dBTechnologies ES503 stands for the most modern type of extremely compact sound reinforcement system for a wide variety of applications, from speech, background music, DJ and entertainer applications, fitness and sports to smaller band applications, the ES503 offers maximum flexibility and scalability.

Bluetooth - integrated:

For pure playback applications, operation is even possible without any additional accessories with a Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or MP3 player, thanks to the integrated high-quality Bluetooth receiver in the ES503.

Digital mixer - integrated:

Three additional mic/line inputs are available for other sources (keyboard, vocals, instrument), including a digital mix section that can be controlled via the high-quality, easy-to-read OLED display and a rotary push encoder. For applications with two ES503s or for an optional stage monitor, an XLR output is available that can output the mix signal or an aux signal.

OLED display - everything at a glance:

The respective acoustic preset for stereo, mono and dual-mono configuration is selected via the integrated OLED display in the subwoofer and provided by the integrated 24-bit/48Khz DSP. The ES503 is equipped with active peak and RMS limiters as well as a thermal protection circuit to ensure a high level of operational reliability, even at the power limit.

digipro Class-D power amplifiers of the latest generation:

The ES503 is equipped with the latest generation of specially developed Digipro digital amplifiers and has a total output of 1000W/PRG, which is divided into three channels and drives the 12 woofers as well as the two 4x3 tops in either stereo or mono.

Like all dBTechnologies Digipro power amplifiers, the ES503 does not require an external fan. This ensures longevity and operational reliability. The fan and power amplifier are protected against dust and dirt, which would minimise cooling and therefore potential overheating.

12" subwoofer - light and powerful:

The subwoofer is made of 15 mm multiplex wood and has a bass-reflex design and is equipped with a 12" woofer. Despite the integrated power amplifier, it weighs only 16.4kg and offers powerful and deep bass up to 37Hz (+-10dB) despite its extremely compact dimensions.

4x 3" tops with neodymium magnets - high-resolution and only 1.9kg light:

The tops are each equipped with four 3" neodymium loudspeakers, which have elaborate phase plugs in front of them and are also mechanically offset. Both are used for mechanical acoustic optimisation in the mid-high range for high-quality reproduction and practice-optimised dispersion characteristics. Thanks to the elaborate plastic housing, the tops weigh just 1.9kg. The satellites are connected via Speakon connectors and are equipped with mounts for 25 mm speaker stands. The ES503 is supplied including the accessories for the mono configuration with a separable 25mm distance rod and a 2m speaker cable.

An optional stand and cable set are available for stereo applications.

Stereo system & mono stack with extended range:

The ES503 allows the separate use of Top-A and Top-B as a stereo system, as well as the mechanical and electrical connection of the two tops using a click system. The two tops then function as a single unit and, in addition to a higher maximum level, also offer an increased range by coupling the eight neodymium speakers.
