The SUB 918 is a bass reflex subwoofer equipped with an 18" premium woofer. It was developed for stacking applications and is the perfect choice when a powerful bass extension is required. A 900 W RMS Class D Digipro G3 amplifier ensures high efficiency and sound pressure levels of up to 134 dB.
The SUB 918 is suitable for real-time monitoring and remote control via the RDNet protocol and Aurora Net software (Windows and Mac), enabling advanced subwoofer configurations and perfect low-end matching to dBTechnologies' full-range systems suitable for RDNet communication.
Both models in the family (SUB 915 and SUB 918) have integrated attenuation controls, a polarity switch and DSP controls for delays up to 4.5 milliseconds in 0.5 millisecond steps (while a maximum delay of 21 ms is allowed via Aurora Net). The crossover frequency can be set from 70 to 110 Hz.
The robust wooden cabinet enables impressive performance at a low weight (41.8 kg) and has two integrated handles, while the rear is equipped with a castor holder for smooth transport.
In addition, the two M20 threads allow vertical as well as horizontal use and together with any type of full-range speaker equipped with a standard M20 thread.
