Weight: 13.04 g (0.46 oz) including cable and MicroDot connector

This microphone is acoustically identical to the d:screet™ 4060. The sensitivity is designed to cope with higher sound pressure levels (SPL). These usually occur when you are close to a sound source or when the microphone has to pick up high-level signals without interference.

The d:screet™ 4661 Heavy Duty achieves up to 144 dB SPL before clipping. This makes it one of the best miniature microphones for use with very loud and powerful instruments such as snare drum, guitar, bass, loudspeaker cabinets and other sound sources with high SPL. The heavy duty strain relief and a thick cable are ideal for live environments, which can be quite harsh at times.
