Excellent adhesion, even on resonance heads or cymbal undersides, even with heavy use or high heat.

Different frequency damping, depending on where the tacs are placed (e.g. a tac at the edge of a drum only reduces the high frequencies; placed in the centre, it reduces a wider frequency spectrum and there is greater damping of the drum)
