The 5-piece Efnote 5X sets new standards with its excellent sound, multi-trigger technology and acoustic drum design.
Elaborately produced multilayer samples ensure the outstandingly lifelike sound. Each of the 98 factory sounds consists of a large number of individual samples, resulting in an exceptionally high dynamic range and lifelike sound behaviour.
The compact sound module has a sturdy metal housing and is operated via a touch screen LC display. With its clearly structured menu, even inexperienced users can quickly access all functions and settings.
All sounds can be edited and stored in the user memory using functions such as tuning, muffling and EQ. A total of 128 memory locations are available for this purpose. There is also a virtual mixer that can be used to adjust the volume of the sounds individually and route them to the outputs as required.
The integrated metronome and rhythm box are ideal for practising. Songs and play-alongs can also be streamed to the module via Bluetooth. The EFNOTE 5 module is also equipped with a USB audio interface that can be used to transfer 8 tracks digitally to the computer. In addition, up to four analogue outputs can be used. The Efnote 5X is equally suitable for live and studio use as well as for teaching purposes.
The bass drum, snare and toms are made from high-quality, 6-ply birch shells and covered with double-layer mesh heads. To ensure unrivalled sensitivity and extremely precise response, all toms and the snare have a total of 3 trigger sensors. The snare also has a third playing surface. This enables a 100% precise separation between cross stick and rim shot. Incorrect triggering of the triggers is therefore absolutely impossible. The 16 bass drum is equipped with 2 triggers and thus guarantees a consistent response, regardless of whether a single or double foot machine is used.
All cymbal pads, including the hi-hat, can be played 360° from all sides and can be stopped via a choke sensor. This means that a device that prevents the cymbals from turning is no longer necessary. The crash and ride cymbals are generally triple zone pads that can be played on the rim, the top and the bell.
Thanks to the optical multi-trigger sensors, the hi-hat has an exceptionally fine sampling rate and extremely precise playing behaviour. This means that even complex playing figures at high speeds can be realised without any problems.
Last but not least, the newly developed Elise sensor processor ensures a wide dynamic range as well as consistent and stable sampling with absolutely low latency.
