Product information "Electro Harmonix Attack Decay"
The Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay from around 1980 is a coveted prize among vintage pedal aficionados. Originally called the Tape Reverse Simulator, it is known for creating volume and reverse swells, backwards tape sounds, artificially short staccato notes and effects for bowed instruments. The redesigned EHX Attack Decay reinterprets the classic and retains its coolness factor, but adds some modern features for more convenience and improved functionality.
It can generate a single volume envelope like the original or, with the poly function enabled, assign a separate volume envelope to each note played. The built-in Harmonix fuzz is now a fully adjustable distortion with gain, tone and volume controls. The effects loop allows the musician or sound designer to apply the volume envelope to any signal that is present at the return socket. Expression pedal/CV input and three user presets give the user total control over their attack decay!
