The very popular two-ply snare head from Evans is, like all snare heads in the Genera series, equipped with Evans' well-known damping system. The sound, which is already rich in attack, is amplified with the help of the damping ring. Small holes, so-called dry vents, have also been worked into the edge of the head. As the name suggests, these make the snare sound drier. The ideal drumhead especially for heavy drummers.
