The second layer gives this tom skin its crisp attack. As there is no further damping, the sound retains sufficient overtones. The enormous versatility of the G2 heads also allows them to be used as snare heads (coated version), making them ideal for styles such as rock and fusion.
With the PrePacks, we provide all drummers with head combinations specially tailored to their musical style. On the back of each PrePack we also provide our well-known tuning tips plus "Sound Spectrum" graphics for snare, tom and bass drum heads. So you can easily find the right head for the sound you want.
