The Fender® American Ultra II Jazz Bass® has a body made from selected alder with curved contours. The quarter-sawn maple neck with our Modern D profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish ensures effortless playability. The 10-14 compound radius ebony or maple fingerboards feature Ultra Rolled Edges, medium jumbo frets, Luminlay® side dots and Graph Tech® TUSQ® nuts. The tapered neck heel and curved contours of the body provide unrivalled access to the higher registers, while the truss rod on the headstock allows for comfortable and easy adjustment.


Fitted with a set of specially designed Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups, this bass offers a huge tonal range, from vintage warmth to modern snap, all without a hint of hum. The redesigned preamp offers unprecedented control to open up endless tonal possibilities. Key features include S-1 switching for active/passive operation, a passive tone control and an active 3-band EQ with switchable midrange frequency. Other road-ready features include an adjustable HiMass top-load or string-through body bridge, lightweight Fender tuners with tapered shanks, knurled aluminium knobs and a 1-ply anodised aluminium pickguard.
