Product information "Fender Kurt Cobain Jaguar 3-Colour Sunburst"
The Kurt Cobain Jaguar® from Fender is the worn and extremely unusual 1965 Jaguar that Cobain played in the roaring early 90s after buying it in a second-hand shop. Back then, Nirvana were the new star in the rock sky and led a culturally revolutionary, musically impressive movement. Now the instrument comes in a new guise. The features include an alder body with a Road Worn finish and reworked hardware in an "aged" look, the bound fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, a Stratocaster headstock design with a "spaghetti" logo in the style of the 50s, the DiMarzio® DP103 PAF 36th Anniversary humbucker on the neck and the DP100 Super Distortion bridge humbucker, the triple-knurled "Chrome Dome" potentiometer configuration (Volume/Volume/Tone), a 3-way toggle switch for the pickups as well as the black Adjusto-Matic™ chrome bridge and closed Gotoh™ tuners. Available in right- and left-handed versions.
Comes with a black vinyl hardshell case and the exclusive Kurt Cobain book from Fender with photos and commentary by Charles Peterson and an in-depth interview with Nirvana guitar technician Earnie Bailey.
