The Clarett+ OctoPre is an eight-channel ADAT preamp that brings pure analogue sound to your studio.
The eight Clarett preamps have been carefully designed to bring an authentic, large format studio sound to any ADAT interface. The pure analogue Air mode with impedance switching creates the legendary effect of Focusrite's ISA mic preamps, adding clarity and presence to drums, guitars and vocals. Two JFET instrument inputs capture the true characteristics of guitars as if you were plugging them into an amplifier. High-quality A-D/D-A converters ensure a clear sound for studio recordings with high dynamic range, extremely low noise and extremely low distortion. The ten balanced outputs are hum-free for pristine monitoring, mixing and mastering with studio monitors.
Add the Clarett+ OctoPre to a 2Pre, 4Pre or 8Pre to easily and consistently expand your I/O via ADAT. Record the whole band together while maintaining analogue purity and clarity, bringing the classic Focusrite Studio Console sound to your recordings.
