Product information "Focusrite RedNet X2P"

RedNet X2P is a compact, robust 2x2 Dante™ audio interface with two Red Evolution mic preamps, a stereo line out and a stereo headphone amplifier. RedNet X2P instantly adds inputs and outputs to your Focusrite Red or any Dante™ audio-over-IP system and is powered, audio and remotely controlled via a single Ethernet cable - simply use a Power-over-Ethernet switch or PoE injector. A local mixer allows control over monitoring, while a control lock ensures that settings remain unchanged during remote control.

The two digitally controlled Red Evolution microphone preamps offer a large amount of extremely clean gain as well as stereo linking, individual phantom power, a high-pass filter and phase inversion. They also feature an air mode that mimics the sound of Focusrite's classic transformer-based mic preamps. RedNet X2P offers powerful audio conversion with a dynamic range of over 118 dB. These converters have been expertly selected and calibrated to achieve the optimum balance between sound quality, dynamic range and conversion latency.

Sometimes it is helpful to have direct feedback in the interface. That's why RedNet X2P has a crossfader that allows you to control the level of the local inputs versus the network inputs feeding either the line or headphone outputs. The device can be attached directly to a microphone stand so that it is out of the way and within reach.

Flexible control locks allow you to lock local control over mic preamp gain, output settings or both. Leave the RedNet X2P with your artists and allow them to adjust their headphone mix and level without accidentally changing the gain of the mic preamp.
