The Genelec 8020DPM is a versatile, professional nearfield monitor that has been specially developed for demanding applications such as mixing, broadcast and multimedia. Thanks to its analytical and unadulterated sound image, it enables objective mixing and fatigue-free monitoring. Its compact dimensions make it the ideal choice for small studios, post-production or mobile setups. Protective grilles in front of the drivers also ensure safe transport.
The sturdy aluminium housing of the 8020DPM reduces resonances and ensures optimum sound reproduction. Rounded enclosure edges and optimised sound routing guarantee balanced dispersion, a precise stereo image and a wide listening zone. A long bass reflex channel ensures deep and precise bass reproduction despite the compact design. If more bass is required, the frequency range can be extended down to 30 Hz using the matching Genelec 7040 subwoofer.
switchable filters allow the speaker to be customised to the installation location and room acoustics. The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the floor and allows it to be aligned to the listening position. Threaded holes and suitable accessories facilitate wall or ceiling mounting.
