When pickups are screwed directly onto the wood without a frame, pressure from below is needed to hold the pickup in position. Typical examples are P90s, Jazz and P-Bass pickups, TL neck pickups, pickups on guitars without pickguards and many others. Our self-adhesive foam rubber is glued directly to the bottom of the pickup base plate and presses the pickup to the correct height.
