Description:

The Modwave mk II is an extremely versatile synthesiser whose sound generation is based on a clever combination of morphable wavetables, samples and a large selection of different filter types and effects. The new KAOSS PHYSICS feature promises unusual modulations based on physical models, which in turn are generated in real time and can be controlled intuitively via an X/Y touchpad. In combination with the in-depth Motion Sequencing 2.0 function, this creates complex animated sounds with their very own character, which can be further manipulated using the four programmable MOD controls. In addition, the modwave mk II offers four gigabytes of user memory for loading your own samples and can therefore be constantly expanded and fully customised to suit your own ideas. The mk II version boasts an impressive polyphony of 60 stereo voices and is also equipped with several new LFO functions. Visually, it can be recognised at first glance by the "mk II" logo on the control panel and the striking red-coloured X/Y touchpad. In addition, free Editor Librarian and Sample Builder software as well as a comprehensive software bundle with titles from KORG and other manufacturers are included as downloads.
