Product information "Korg MW-2408 NT"

Not only the sound but also the usability of a mixer is important, especially when things need to move quickly on stage. Korg has teamed up with two luminaries of mixer design - Greg Mackie and Peter Watts - to develop hybrid analogue/digital consoles. The result of this co-operation, announced a year ago, is a portable mixer with great features normally only found on large mixing consoles. Noble sound combined with high-end technology. Both the 24-channel and 16-channel versions offer straightforward, analogue ease of use and the additional functions are fully tailored to musicians.

The HiVolt microphone preamps built into the mixing consoles show that a low noise level can go hand in hand with a high headroom. This is thanks to the internal 16.5V voltage (even with stereo channels). Furthermore, the special and unique Musician's Phone function allows you to mix the stereo sum signal to your own monitor in order to keep an eye on the entire musical event. In addition to a limiter, one-knob compressor for all microphone channels and a noise gate function, both mixer models offer 24 high-calibre digital effects in Bundesliga quality. These can even be conveniently and easily changed and saved according to your own preferences. A 24-band spectrum analyser for the integrated noise generators, multi-band sum EQs and freely programmable mute groups round off the overall package alongside free mastering software from iZotope.
