The MAUI 5 is an ultra-compact PA and monitor system in one, weighing just 11 kg, with a peak output of 800 watts and a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB. The smallest system in the MAUI family can be set up in seconds thanks to a specially developed multipin connector and just 4 components, and impresses with its wide dispersion and high resistance to feedback. The MAUI 5 is easy to carry and fits on any car seat.
The bass reflex enclosure of the 8" subwoofer base also houses the system's Class D amplifier unit with protection circuits against overcurrent, overheating and short circuits, the digital LECC signal processing from LD Systems and a 4-channel mixer. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth© technology for wireless streaming and simultaneously assignable microphone, line and high-impedance inputs, a wide variety of sound sources can be connected to the MAUI 5, e.g. playback devices and instruments such as keyboards or guitars. Separate level controls, volume controls for the subwoofer and system as well as a high-shelf filter for adjusting the treble reproduction to the room acoustics enable a perfectly harmonised performance.
