The two balanced microphone channels with stereo jack input are equipped with controls for gain, talkover volume, talkover attenuation, 12V phantom power and a common 2-band tone control. Line channels 1 and 2 can also be used for unbalanced connection of microphones, channel 6 is specially designed for balanced FOH signals. The stereo input channels of the ZONE 622 have cue buttons and volume controls with signal display, channels 1 - 5 have additional gain trimmers. The zone mixer also has a 3.5 mm mini-jack input and a USB port that serves as a stereo input and output (recording out). This allows the ZONE 622 to be used as an external audio interface.
The stereo and mono output sections have their own level meters, 2-band tone control, trimmers for setting the maximum output level and electronically balanced jack and terminal block connections. The stereo section also has unbalanced RCA sockets. An adjustable headphone connection for pre-listening and a recording output complete the features of the ZONE 622.
