The two balanced microphone inputs have a common 3-band tone control, 12V phantom power and talkover function; the talkover attenuation can be set individually for all zone outputs on the rear panel. The 6 stereo input channels of the ZONE 624 are equipped with gain controls, signal and peak value LEDs, 45 mm faders, cue buttons and RCA sockets, channel 6 also has balanced jack inputs for the FOH signal. The device also has a switchable AUX input via 3.5 mm mini jack and a USB connection, which serves as a stereo input and output (Recording Out) and turns the ZONE 624 into an external audio interface.
The outputs of the master section are electronically balanced and are provided via XLR sockets and terminal block connections; the stereo zone also has unbalanced RCA connections. The maximum output level can be preset individually for all zones. The three mono outputs of the ZONE 624 each have a 2-band tone control, a selectable 100 Hz high-pass filter, microphone mute switch and a level display. Inputs 1 - 6 or the stereo master signal can be selected as the source. The stereo output is equipped with a 3-band EQ, talkover sensitivity control and two LED chains for level indication. The ZONE 624 also has a recording output and an adjustable PFL headphone connection for pre-listening.
