Légère clarinet reeds are an approximate counterpart to the Vandoren White Master reeds
Advantages:
They are ultimately less expensive to use than wooden reeds as they last longer.
They are ready to use and therefore particularly suitable for multi-instrumentalists ("doublers") and teacher performances.
They are reliable.
They are consistent from sheet to sheet. When one is used up, the next reed purchased will be almost 100% identical.
They reduce adjustment, moistening and repositioning (which is normally unavoidable before playing), resulting in more time to play
to play.
