Lehle Parallel SW II

True-bypass parallel effects looper and stereo mixer

Discrete Class A input stages

122 dB dynamic range thanks to 30 V technology

Three different operating modes: latching, momentary or mixed mode

Mono and stereo can be combined

Active switchover crackle suppression

The LEHLE PARALLEL SW II is a compact and versatile line mixer for high sonic demands. The signals from your effects units can be mixed with the original signal, either before the amp or wired into its effects path. You can adjust the levels of the send and return paths separately and optimise the ratio to the original signal using the mix control. All sockets are stereo, so your stereo effect devices now also have their place in the signal path of the LEHLE PARALLEL SW II.

Thanks to the discrete Class A input stages with JFET technology, the inputs of the LEHLE PARALLEL SW II are suitable for high-impedance signals such as those from electric guitars and basses or acoustic instruments with pickups; low-impedance signals from keyboards or active electric guitars or basses, for example, can also be processed - with a wide transmission range of 20 to 100,000 Hz.

Another new feature is the ability to combine mono and stereo signals, i.e. effects units with mono input and stereo output can be mixed into the signal path of the LEHLE PARALLEL SW II without restriction. The wide dynamic range of 122 dB of the LEHLE PARALLEL SW II makes it possible, for example, to add a 19" studio effect with its low impedance line level to your guitar signal or to loop in level-adjusted floor effect pedals via the amplifier effect path. To make full use of the dynamics of your tube amplifiers, the input voltage is rectified, filtered, stabilised and then transformed to 30 V after the power supply socket.

The LEHLE switch works with a microcontroller and an intelligent true-bypass relay circuit with active switching click suppression. It therefore switches the LEHLE PARALLEL SW II faster than mechanical switches and is also wear-free and noiseless. The mushroom-shaped soft-touch button, which is characteristic of LEHLE products, is mounted in the housing so that it moves smoothly, which means that the force of your foot pressure is only transmitted indirectly by a spring. The circuit board is therefore not exposed to any mechanical stress, which makes the LEHLE PARALLEL SW II virtually indestructible and gives it a long service life.

The LEHLE PARALLEL SW II has three operating modes that allow the footswitch to function either as a switch (latching) or as a momentary switch to produce momentary or rhythmic stutter effects. The third mode offers a mixture of operating modes one and two: short press is a switch, long press is a momentary switch.

The LEHLE PARALLEL SW II sets no limits to your creative potential.

What makes a good amplifier sound?Tube technology, selected high-voltage components, dynamics through high-voltage technology and an uncompromising analogue signal path. The BL 800 follows exactly this path. AVTC - Analogue Virtual Tube Circuit, selected high-voltage components, 280V operating voltage and a completely analogue signal path. The BL 800 is built like a real tube amplifier, with the same components, and that's exactly how it sounds!Sound without compromise:The BL 800 delivers a clearly defined, tight sound with plenty of attack. It also has a dynamic response and reaction to the guitar's potentiometer that only good tube amplifiers can achieve. The gain reserves surpass the good old JCM800, especially when the boost is switched on. Without the boost activated, the BL 800 is an exact sound copy of the JCM 800 with a little more gain; with the boost activated, there is a decent extra boost of gain.Controls:Gain, bass, middle, treble, volume, plus a gain boost. Five controls are enough to adapt the BL800 perfectly to an amplifier. This is achieved by an active 3-band tone control that covers all sound nuances. The boost adds a further scoop of gain without changing the actual sound of the BL 800.
