Lumen Handpan is the world's first electro-acoustic handpan. It sounds and plays like an acoustic handpan, but is incredibly flexible in comparison. The Lumen Handpan can be played in any tuning, and samples of various handpan types have been integrated to give you control over the sound. These individual settings, including volume control, can be made via the integrated display in conjunction with the touch control panel. And the most important thing about a Handpan: the touch dynamics: the 9 pressure-sensitive pads have fascinating touch dynamics as well as polyphonic aftertouch and thus ensure a distinct and intense playing feel.
The integrated 360-degree full-range loudspeaker and the rechargeable battery with up to 8 hours of playtime make the Lumen Handpan portable and versatile. The instrument can also be played via headphones, whereby the internal speakers can be deactivated during this time. DAW integration of the Handpan is also possible via MIDI.
