The Lynx AES16e offers 16 channels of 192 kHz AES/EBU input and output.
It builds on the capabilities of our Lynx AES16, which has been the industry standard in multi-channel AES/EBU audio interfaces for years, but brings a number of improvements and fits into modern PCI Express slots on current Windows and Mac OSX audio workstations.
The architecture and higher bandwidth of the PCI Express standard reduces bottlenecks and congestion, which automatically results in noticeably higher performance for high-end computer-based audio.
The Lynx AES16e PCI Express card has 16 input and 16 output channels for 24-bit AES/EBU digital audio at a sample rate of 192 kHz, both in single-wire and dual-wire AES mode. The Lynx AES16e is specifically designed for integration with digital mixing consoles, multi-channel A/D and D/A converters, hard disc recorders, digital audio workstations and other digital audio equipment and works with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
