The AIR 192|8 lets you create 24-bit/192kHz studio-quality recordings with an intuitive and easy-to-use audio interface. Behind its sleek, professionally crafted metal chassis with a large central control knob, the AIR 192|8 houses our exclusive Crystal low-noise preamps and impeccable A/D converters to deliver the best audio performance in its class. The AIR 192|8's versatile inputs allow you to record up to 2 channels simultaneously with its two dedicated balanced XLR+6.3mm combo inputs with -10dB mic pad and two brand new 6.3mm instrument inputs that feature specially designed gain and impedance grading for the most accurate reproduction of guitars or basses plugged directly into the interface.
The (2) 6.3mm and (4) RCA outputs with USB/Direct control and Direct Mono/Stereo switch offer a variety of output options for connecting external accessories, DJ mixing consoles or studio monitors. The headphone output with independent level, USB/Direct and switchable 1/2 and 3/4 audio stream controls are perfect for discreet listening to a cue, sub or main mix. MIDI In and Out connections are provided to connect synthesisers, sequencers and other external MIDI hardware. The AIR 192|8 is connected to the Mac or PC via a standard USB or USB-C port using one of the two included cables. This lightning-fast USB connection, combined with the USB/Direct Balance knob, allows latency-free monitoring of your inputs and simplifies the recording process.
