The tonal spectrum of the Royal Blue Overdrive ranges from light overdrive - dirt - to distortion sounds. If you take the gain out completely, the pedal can be used as a booster with tone control. The pedal is very touch-sensitive and thanks to the treble and bass pots, the pedal can be easily tuned to the respective guitar/amp combination. The pedal can be combined well with other distortion pedals.
